It has been brought to the attention of the Board of Directors that some residents are not picking up after their dogs. Please remember that our Covenant addresses our rights and responsibilities when it comes to caring for animals and pets in the Academy Place Community. According to Article VI, Section 8: Animals and Pets: “No animal or birds except those customarily kept as domestic pets shall be kept in any residence or lot; and no more than two domestic pets may be kept in any residence or on any lot; provided however, no pet may be maintained or kept outdoors. Further, all pets must kept on a leash when being walked or exercised and all pet excretion must be immediately removed by the Unit owner.”

Trash Can Replacement
It appears that the City of Lebanon is not willing to make any exception to the purchase rule. The current cost per can is $75.00. After a review of the age and conditions of trash cans, the Board of Directors has voted to replace the oldest first. During the months of March, May, June and September, the new trash cans will be purchased in the following order: Bradley and Phillips, then Leftwich, followed by Hosier and finally, Baker.
